Suffix Letter Designations
The table below outlines the properties being tested when
a particular suffix letter is called-out in an ASTM D2000
specification. This suffix letter is usually followed by two
additional suffix numbers. The first of which corresponds
to the test method, the second of which indicates the temperature
of the test. All ASTM tests are conducted on Slabs and Hardness
Buttons (NOT on Orings).
